With its charming Victorian style, luxurious facilities, and world-class service, it’s a fantastic home base for exploring the city. Many of San Diego’s top attractions, like the Zoo, Safari Park, SeaWorld, and Old Town, are close by. My kids love the huge outdoor pool, complete with sun loungers and pool toys, as well as the picnic areas, spacious gardens, and on-site water sports. The hotel’s kid-friendly meals and buffet make dining a breeze, and it’s just 6 km from the San Diego Airport.

Catamaran Resort & Spa: If you want a Polynesian-themed escape, this 4-star resort in Pacific Beach is a wonderful choice. The rooms have beautiful views, and there’s an outdoor pool, a full-service spa, a beachfront lounge, a private beach area, and a games room. My kids always have a blast with the skates, bikes, and water sports rentals available right at the resort. The on-site restaurant means we never have to go far for a great meal.
