Winter in Dubai looks more pleasant than summer in Canada! Sign me up for the beaches, the desert and Old Dubai (what a great contrast to all the new development)!

Lots to do in Dubai! The hike to Hatta looks so beautiful and I love how they’ve brought the snow to them. It also made me chuckle that their winter is still warmer than a San Francisco summer.

It’s such an interesting parallel that while everyone stops going outdoors in Europe during winter, in Dubai it’s the opposite. I went there in November a few years ago and the temperature was just getting to the point where I could bear it in the daytime. We went to Wild Wadi Water Park and loved that place! Some awesome tips here for sure, makes me want to go back again 🙂

It looks a lot less crowded in the winter- so a perfect time to visit. A silly question- does it cool down in the desert at all? I’ve always wanted to visit a desert but I can’t do high temperatures so I don’t think that will ever happen!

I am sure winters would be a real saviour from the blistering sunny days of Dubai. A road trip sounds exciting and so does booking a yacht from the Marine drive.

I’ve been only at the airport so far and never really interested in visiting since I thought it was all so artificial. Your posts shows that there are definitely other aspects to Dubai, too, that make a visit worth a while. Thanks for this inspiration.
