Agra, also known as the City of Taj, is visited by millions of tourists throughout the year. Having lived here for the last two years, I have found plenty of restaurants and local joints that offer a variety of tasty Indian food.
There’s a lot more to explore in this city in the form of its local cuisine and lip-smacking street food varieties. So, I have prepared a list of the most popular food chains, cafes, and street food joints you must try while touring this lovely city of Taj.
Agra’s Must Try Food
Bedai and Jalebi
Bedai and Jalebi is the most famous breakfast which is a unique combination of a spicy snack and a sweet dessert. Bedai is a fried puffy bread served with spicy gravy of potato and curd.
The crispy sugary Jalebis served with them are perfect for balancing the spiciness of this snack. The Jalebis are prepared by deep frying pretzel-shaped flour and soaking them in thick sugar syrup.

The different types of street food food in Agra look delicious. Healthy, colourful, and mouthwatering. I can picture myself snacking on Daalmoth, whilst exploring the sites of Agra. The restaurants and cafes are in awesome settings, and best of all they are kind to your budget. Sheroes Hangout is I would like to visit. How inspiring!
