Over the past few years, it has focused on making itself as a complete family destination aiming to have something for all age groups. In this quest, it also has started transforming itself into an adventure destination and encouraged theme parks to set up bases on its soil. I would love to check out IMG Worlds of Adventure! It sounds like something I would love to experience as I’m a huge Marvel Superheroes fan. I’m not really into waterparks, as I’m deathly afraid of drowning since a swimming instructor pushed my head under water as a kid. Oh, just a little idea that I had while reading your blog. If you had videos as well as text, maybe even the promo video of the park, that would add to the visuals. I’m kind of a visual person.

My last visit to Dubai had me devoid of exploring anything worth seeing. My time was spent carrying loads and loads of branded clothes from shopping festival. My sister’s wedding gave me a chance to visit Dubai and then ruined it. Next time I visit, I’ll surely visit these theme parks.

  • These parks do look nice – especially the one with the flowers. I’m only afraid they might not be very environment friendly. This oblivion towards resources is the main reason I haven’t visited Dubai yet – besides some stopovers at the airport.

  • I went to Wild Wadi Water Park when I visited Dubai in 2011. Loved that place! There’s such an awesome view from the top of a couple of the higher water rides. And I remember the really long & high water slide, which was actually quite scary when you get to the top haha.
I want to go back to Dubai now and try the other four theme parks you recommend 🙂
