In addition to visiting the famous sites such as Jantar Mantar, Amer Fort, Hawa Mahal, and many other parts of Jaipur, you must also visit the lesser-known spots in Jaipur to experience the taste that the city has to offer indeed. Every corner in the city has its own story, and it is impossible to forget how stunning Jaipur truly is. Jaipur is famous for its destination weddings and is specially designed for the loved ones who come each winter to create an array of memories.

Jaipur is also known as Pink City. It is the capital city of the royal state of Rajasthan. The town is surrounded by the splendor that was the Marwar empire. There are some fantastic spots within and surrounding the Pink City, which is still unexplored and free of the glitz and glamour of the tourist crowd. There are many offbeat locations close to Jaipur to explore after you have arrived in Pink City and want to explore the lesser-travelled roads. 1. Chulgiri Jain Temple

Chulgiri is one of the Jain temples surrounded by the ‘Aravalli hills’. It’s a hilltop temple and is nearly 20 km from Jaipur on Jaipur and Agra highway. This place is packed with adventure. On the way to this destination, you can also see the wildlife.

2. Chandlai Lake

This has been classified as an inland water body that is over 140 years old. About 2 kms from that of the Chandler Toll Plaza, this tranquil water body isn’t even well-known to the people who live there. The stunning spot is thought of as one of the top places to visit in Jaipur.
If you are a lover of romantic tranquility, peace, solitude, and a gentle breeze, it is the perfect spot to be.

The lake is believed to have a population of around ten thousand migratory birds, including the species known as Pied Avocet, Pallas’s Gul, Ruddy Shelduck, and the White Wagtail. It is the ideal spot for anyone looking forward to reconnecting with nature—the place where you can breathe fresh air in the hustle and bustle of many tourist spots.

3. Galta Ji Temple

A sacred place, the Galta Ji Temple also abounds in the natural beauty of ethereal nature. The temple is famous for the seven natural springs, or tanks known as “kunds.” People come from all over the state to soak in the holy waters. The temple itself is an extravagant complex made of pink sandstone, and hills surround it.

The temple was constructed in honor of Saint Galav during the late 18th century by Diwan Rao Kriparam. The Galta Ji is also called Monkey Temple. It’s easy to understand why it got its name. The temple is filled with monkeys, and they’re all scared of visitors! If you decide to feed them, be prepared to be robbed too.

At sunset, a horde of monkeys gather to swim the kunds, and it is recommended to leave your hotel at Jaipur at a reasonable time and explore the temple and surrounding region.

4. Vidyadhar Garden

This garden is situated just off Jaipur City. Vidyadhar Garden can be described as a gorgeous sprawling green space. It draws people with its incredible architecture and perspective of Jaipur city from this point. It has an outdoor terrace and galleries decorated with paintings of Lord Krishna’s fountains and an attractively maintained garden. The garden was created in 1988 to honor Vidyadhar Bhattacharya, the architect in charge of Jaipur city. There is a belief that the site was once a vineyard that belonged to the family of royals.

It’s a great spot to spend a weekend in the vicinity of Jaipur. It is possible to stroll through the stunning garden and look at the blossoming flower and the intricate design of the area.

5. Central Park
